Every trip is custom-tailored to the season and your goals. Combo hunt licensing is handled for you — you purchase preference points and the Elk/Deer Combination License (not included in the trip price), and we manage the process after booking. The deadline to apply for the Elk/Deer Combination License is April 1. Fishing licenses are included in the Combination License. Black bear and wolf tags are available over the counter as optional add-ons, and mountain lion licenses are available over the counter.
Summer trips are family-friendly, all-inclusive, and priced per person. 10% group and 25% youth discounts are available on summer trips, and fishing licenses can be purchased upon arrival. All combo hunts are a 2-on-1 hunter-to-guide ratio; bear and lion hunts are 1-on-1.
Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
Deposit & payment schedule
A 25% deposit is required to reserve your trip. The payment schedule is three (3) more monthly automatic recurring credit card payments beginning March 1 of the year of your trip, and you must be signed up for automatic recurring credit card payments. For trips booked after March 1 of the year of your trip, your deposit must catch you up to the payment schedule — for example, a trip booked March 2 requires a 50% deposit with recurring payments beginning April 1.
Cancellations & trip insurance
Trip insurance is highly recommended, as there are NO REFUNDS from Montana Safaris. The entire cost of the trip will be billed to you; with trip insurance, up to 100% can be refunded. We highly recommend opting in for the “cancel for any reason” benefits, which can range from 75% to 100% of the cost of the trip refunded. Trips cancelled 30 days before departure may be eligible for a following-year rollover credit — please inquire about details.
Getting here
We provide courtesy shuttle service to and from the Great Falls Airport. Plan to fly into Great Falls the evening prior to your safari and fly home the day after.
